Former 'America's Next Top Model' hopeful Angelea Preston is married, pregnant
While the British Invasion cycle of America's Next Top Model comes to a close, we get word of Buffalo, N.Y.'s favorite native daughter, Angelea Preston. You know, the one who was disqualified from the All-Stars cycle amid rumors she had actually won? Well, turns out she got married and pregnant, so she's been very busy.
"I'm very excited about things that have been happening in my life recently, like with my marriage and my baby and my career," the 25-year-old tells Us Weekly. "I feel very blessed." She said she found out she was pregnant with boyfriend Eric Brown's baby "around Christmastime," but after she moved to L.A. to fined work, he popped the question and they got married on Feb. 24.
"I feel like Eric is more than just my partner -- I feel like he's my best friend. He's someone I can depend on," she said. While Angelea hopes this will change her modeling career for the better (she recently signed with the Expecting Models agency), this baby is important to her for a different reason: Her daughter Giavonna Anchell died 23 days after being born three months premature in 2003.
"I feel that with this pregnancy, it's a second chance for me to be a mother, and it really puts things in perspective about what's really important in life," she says. We're sure all of the 716 is pulling for her.
