Fourth accuser claims underage sex with Kevin Clash
Elmo. Kevin Clash. Fourth accuser. Allegations of sexual relationship with a minor. Lawsuit. We all get the picture by now. And finally, there's one with a Florida connection. Of course.
A man identified as John Doe in a lawsuit filed in federal court in New York says he met clash in Miami Beach in 1995 or 1996, when Doe was 16 or 17 and Clash was in his mid 30s, TMZ reports. The plaintiff says Clash flew him to New York, set him up with money and a crash pad and had sex with him several times.
"According to our lawsuit, Kevin Clash knowingly paid to transport a minor across state lines for the purpose of satisfying his sexual interests," Doe attorney Jeff Herman told the site. Doe is claiming he suffered psychological damage after his relationship with Clash. This is the third lawsuit now, since the first accuser, Sheldon Stephens reached a settlement with the puppeteer, which he now says was signed under duress. Clash has since resigned from Sesame Street, but not our pages.
