Frankie Muniz allegedly punches girlfriend, holds gun to his head during argument
Malcolm is in the middle of a domestic violence dispute after cops came to Frankie Muniz's house after the actor allegedly punched his girlfriend and threatened to kill himself. And here we thought the child-actor diseaseon might have skipped this one.
According to a police report filed Friday in Phoenix, Elycia Turnbow told authorities she and Muniz, 25, were arguing about "prior relationships" when he "grabbed a gun and held it to his head, possibly with the intent of committing suicide," TMZ says. Turnbow says she called one of his bandmates (wait, he's in a band? Yep, he's the drummer in You Hang Up, which is still unsigned) to take him to the hospital.
Frankie had a different story, claiming he "fell and hit his head" as Elycia was screaming at him. As for the gun thing, he says he "grabbed the case, but not the gun ... it isn't even loaded." Except that it was when cops found it. Oops.
When Frankie got back from the hospital later that night, Elycia claimed he "punched her in the back of the head, and threw here into a wall while in the downstairs bedroom." He denies this, too, saying she woke him up with more yelling, and this time hitting him in the face. And gee, officer, he was only defending himself when "Elycia fell to the ground and started to kick the bedroom door." Cops say in the report there were no visible injuries.
"I love her too much," Muniz told police about the alleged punching. "She is the woman I want to marry." That's not necessarily what you want to hear when people are going to the hospital and waving guns around.
