'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' alum Janet Hubert calls Will Smith an a--hole
While Will Smith recently posted a photo of a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air family reunion on his Facebook page, neither of the women who played Aunt Vivian were present. Now the first incarnation of Will's auntie, Janet Hubert, is fuming that anyone would dare suggest she attend such a thing. Geez, sorry for asking.
"There will never be a reunion ... as I will never do anything with an a--hole like Will Smith," Hubert told TMZ, blaming Smith for getting her fired back in 1993. "He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn't know the word."
Wow, that's what you call being bitter. As you can see from the photo, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Alfonso Ribeiro and James Avery all managed to attend a luncheon for Parsons' charity, Sweet Blackberry earlier this month (we don't know who that other guy is). The non-profit promotes stories of African American achievement with children. Couldn't Hubert or her replacement, Daphne Reid, at least send a check? We're looking at erstwhile Geoffrey, Joseph Marcell, as well.
