Good news, everyone! Every geek's favorite cartoon, Futurama, has been renewed for two more seasons on Comedy Central, Entertainment Weekly reports. And that's not even including the ones that are going to be on the air this June.

The mag says the network has ordered two more cycles of 13 episodes, in addition to the ones following up the debut's episodes about the eyePhone, time travel, a mutant revolt and a holiday special, keeping the show on the air through 2013. The number of seasons is now getting pretty confused, as the four direct-to-DVD movies may qualify as the fifth season, and we're supposedly in the middle of the sixth season. So this may be a seventh season, or they may call them eight or ninth, or ... or ... or ... geez, who cares anymore?

The return of the former 1990s Fox show has brought in about 2.5 million viewers per week, once you factor in everyone who DVR'd the thing. That would probably be most people, since there's no way of telling when anything will be on, with Comedy Central's habit of splitting a season in half across two years.
