Gary Coleman wanted to be kept alive, docs show

In case you weren't yet tired of hearing about the sad death of Gary Coleman, TMZ dredges up documents that make it look like Shannon Price really didn't have the authority to pull the plug on her ex-husband. Why does this not shock us in the least?

The site shows documents from 2006 that reveal Coleman specified he wanted to be kept alive as long as possible in the event of incapacitation. The instructions explicitly state in the end-of life decisions segment: "I want my life to be prolonged as long as possible within the limits of generally accepted health care standards." That doesn't read like "pull the plug" to us.

Price has been trying to gain control of Coleman's body since he died on May 28, and even listed the man as still married on his death certificate, despite the fact they were divorced in 2008. Thanks to all that duplicity, it doesn't surprise us in the least she would terminate his life despite a document saying the exact opposite. Gary, we hate to say it, but you may be better off.
