Gina Gershon says she's not Clinton's cutie
We didn't have to wait too long for Gina Gershon to defend herself against Vanity Fair's insinuations that she's been "visiting" former President Bill Clinton. The 45-year-old actresses attorney, Lynda Goldman, wrote to Vanity Fair demanding a retraction, the New York Daily News says.
"Rumor mongering was substituted for fact-checking," Goldman wrote in a letter obtained by TMZ. "It is apparent that Vanity Fair was intent upon publishing unsubstantiated rumors, and that it avoided learning the true facts so that the truth would not get in the way. Such conduct is reckless and malicious, giving rise to substantial liability for defamation."
Oh snap, that means "get ready to be sued by us, you filthy liars" in law-speak. With all the skanky news that makes it onto The Juice*, we have to think this is hardly the most malicious rumor in the world. But then, Gina's got such an exemplary career to defend!
