It's been a spell since Gwen Stefani has had a hit single, but don't think she hasn't been working. The fashionista is shoring up her street cred now that she's the new face of L'Oreal Paris. It's just to thing to wear with your L.A.M.B. clothing and perfume, you know.

"I can’t believe I get to be one of the L'Oreal Paris girls. I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it’s always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band," the 41-year-old (!) told People. "To get to work with such a modern, talented group of people is really exciting. I’m a lucky, lucky girl."

Stefani's first campaign will be for L'Oréa's Le Rouge lip color. Too bad the only photo we get to see is in black and white.
