Gwyneth Paltrow talks about being offered role for sex
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow says that the casting couch is still a tried-and-true method for producers auditioning young actresses, and we don't mean for sitting. She tells Elle that even when she was starting out, she had the proverbial starlet moment.
"When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom. I left," she told the magazine. "I was pretty shocked. I could see how someone who didn’t know better might worry, 'My career will be ruined if I don’t give this guy a blow job!'"
She also says that Hollywood is tough for girls trying to break in, but it's even harder now that she's 38.
"There's a lot (of roles that are) okay, but there's little that's really good, especially for someone my age," she says. "Sometimes you find out that something you really liked is going to someone 10 years younger."
Sorry, Gwyn, but even that macrobiotic diet won't make you stop aging.
