Halle Berry ordered to pay $20,000 a month in child support
If you thought there were any chances of Halle Berry settling with baby daddy Gabriel Aubry, think again. The actress has been ordered by a judge to pay the male model $20,000 a month in child support for 4-year-old daughter Nahla. Twenty thousand American dollars. As if fathering Halle Berry's child wasn't payment enough for that deadbeat.
A family law judge ordered Berry to pay the outrageous sum on Monday, the first child support order ever issued by a court in their custody case, TMZ reports. That sends a pretty strong message about which way they'll be ruling on her plans to whisk the little girl away to Paris. Maybe the judge wants to ensure Gabe can buy plane tickets to visit.
The Juice* never understands what's up with the unbelievable sums of money celebrities have to pay to their significant others in divorces and child support. If they ever had to put a kid in a regular day care with the rest of the teeming masses, they'd realize your average day care worker makes less than minimum wage. Try paying them $20k per month and watch how much more devoted than some shiftless ex-boyfriend they are.
