Han Solo, Boba Fett may be getting 'Star Wars' spinoffs
Just t'other day, we were telling you Ain't It Cool News said one of those future standalone Star Wars movies would be about Yoda. And while we trust the gossipers at that site, Entertainment Weekly has the suck-up cred necessary to probably be right when they add there are Han Solo and Boba Fett projects in the works. All these and another trilogy? No, quality can't possibly suffer at this rate.
EW cites sources who say the Han project would be set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, requiring someone younger than Harrison Ford, and the Bounty hunter-centric Boba Fett project would either take place between Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, or Empire and Return of the Jedi. Prequel actor Temeura Morrison, who played daddy Jango, could technically be the right age to play the character sans helmet, they speculate.
There's lots of other speculation -- Joe Johnston, who designed Fett's Mandalorian armor, directing that movie; Robert Rodriguez wanting to shape the Solo legend; Jabba the Hutt and Darth Vader returning, etc. -- but nothing concrete. In fact, even these spinoff movie plots are technically unconfirmed, so anyone can say anything they want. Seriously, just look at what these so-called sources are doing.
