Like he doesn't have a driver, anyway
George Michael’s guilty plea saved him from the clink, it seems. The singer was sentenced on Friday to 100 hours of community service and banned him from driving for two years after driving while all drugged up, the AP says.
Michael will also have to pay costs of $4,622 for the charge, which he said was the result of being tired and jacked up on prescription medication.
“I am glad to put this behind me and now I’m off to do the biggest show of my life,” he said.
He’s performing Saturday and Sunday at the rebuilt Wembley Stadium in London, but we think acting contrite about his DUI scuffles was his biggest show.
