Heath Ledger was probably worth some money
We'd like to let Heath Ledger rest in peace, but as you know, his family has been fighting over his money. Remember how dad Kim said his assets were worth $145,000? Sure doesn't seem like a lot, and there's a reason why.
TMZ points out that the $145k figure was from when the will was drafted -- in 2003! Since then he did a couple small movies including Lords of Dogtown, The Brothers Grimm, Brokeback Mountain and some flick called The Dark Knight.
Not only did he have plenty more cash than that, but like all rich people he was smart enough to park it places besides tax-happy U.S. banks. And while the site says an uncle posits he was worth as much as $60 million, which is unlikely, there's surely no doubt Michelle Williams and baby Matilda will get a pretty penny -- if the Ledgers sort it out fairly, that is.
