Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt allege torture on 'I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here'
We would so like to ignore Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt whining on I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here, but it's too good not to pay attention. Now the pair are claiming that they were tortured, landing Heidi in the hospital with a gastric ulcer. That's okay, we get ulcers from knowing people like you are rich and infamous.
Spencer apparently fired his lawyer and plans to sue NBC after Heidi was "locked in a dark room for 3 days w no food or water," the fleshbearded one tweeted. But TMZ says producers have video that proves she was only put away (as part of the show) for 8 or 10 hours, with food or water and medical staff on hand.
A cast member says the network tried to convince Heidi to stay on set rather than go to the hospital, which makes sense unless she was coughing up blood, because minor ulcers are rarely fatal, we hear. But what's really over the top is a TMZ quote from another cast member who said, "It's the same as Guantanamo Bay," concerning their treatment on the show.
What, just because NBC took their passports away so they couldn't leave Costa Rica? You guys should read the fine print on your contracts. And read the newspapers to get a better idea of what Guantanamo Bay is really like. Suffer, fools.
