Hilary Duff calls Faye Dunaway old AND ugly
Hilary Duff lashed out at Faye Dunaway after the latter expressed a teensy bit of outrage that nobody director Tonya S. Holly was remaking 1967's classic Bonnie & Clyde. Why? Just because the Chicago Sun-Times said Dunaway exclaimed, "Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?" when she found out? Phht.
Duff, who's greatest contribution to mankind so far has been Lizzie McGuire, said that Faye (and we'll infer by extension co-star and Hollywood legend Warren Beatty) is irrelevant when it comes to the remake The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.
"I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is," she told Daily 10 on the set of (ahem) The Ghost Whisperer (watch the video above). "I think it was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now, too."
Oh snap! Duff's either got no fear or she's taken one too many blows to the head to try to pick a fight with Ms. Faye like that. If Frank Sinatra were alive today, he'd already be calling Izzy the Nose to introduce Hilary's head to the inside of a bowling bag.
