Hulk Hogan confirms sex tape partner was Heather Clem
Well, we've all learned the partner in Hulk Hogan's sex tape -- which we apparently can't get enough of around here -- really was Bubba the Love Sponge's wife at the time, Heather. We know this because Hulk went on Howard Stern's show Tuesday morning and said so, saying how embarrassed he was about the whole thing. Not enough to keep quiet about the whole thing, but, you know, embarrassed nonetheless.
Hogan told Stern that he didn't know the session, shot six years ago, was being recorded, but it was a break during a tumultuous time in his marriage to Linda Hogan. He even talked about the possibility of getting divorced on the tape. He and Stern also talked how Bubba once said Hulk and Stern were the only two people who would be allowed to sleep with his wife.
"So Bubba said to you hey, what's mine is yours, she's up for it, go ahead, it's not going to upset me," Stern noted about Hulk's situation in a clip posted on TMZ. "But it does change your relationship, but, I mean that was awfully nice of him and her, I guess, in a way, right? In a sense."
Hulk replied the issue had come up again and again, but he never acted on it until his divorce was amping up and times were bad.
"I considered both people close friends, you know, there was ongoing dialogue for over two years about this. And I said, and honestly, just give me a break, stop, you're joking it was almost to a point of being funny." Then his acrimonious relationship with Linda "bottomed out" and Hulk did what sounded like a good idea at the time.
Stern was sure to bust Hogan's chops about originally denying the news, however: "You looked me in the eye and said, 'Man code. I would never break the man code. I would never bang another guy's wife.'"
"That was protection mode. I had my fingers crossed, my toes crossed," Hulk answered. He further defended his less-than-kinetic performance by saying if he'd known he was being recorded, he would have tried harder.
"The situation I was in, I didn't want to be overly aggressive," he said. "Because it was my friend's girl. Things could've been to a whole other level." Heather must really regret that.
Not content with speaking only on satellite radio, Hogan then went on the Today show and talked with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb about how awful the situation was, according to USA Today. You'd never know he was really on there to promote Impact Wrestling, a show he's now producing.
"It's appalling," he said of the fallout. "It's flipped my life totally upside down." He also said new wife Jennifer "is rattled, to say the least. She's not part of this media life. It's something devastating to me, I've never been through anything on this level." He added he was worried about how the latest round of shamelessness would affect kids Brooke and Nick. We think he may have signed away rights to be concerned about emotionally crippling his kids after agreeing to make Hogan Knows Best.
Not only that, but there may be yet another sex tape floating around out there somewhere. Egads, can North Pinellas handle such a development?
"Hulk is very concerned that a new sex tape could emerge," a source told the site. "After the first video was leaked he warned Linda, Brooke and Nick that he could of been caught on camera in the past. The family is absolutely mortified their name has been sullied in such a tacky way. They never imagined that Hulk could drag them into such an embarrassing situation." They've never seen his days in the n.W.o. as "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, then.
Meanwhile, Hogan’s lawyer called St. Petersburg Police on Tuesday afternoon and asked to file a criminal complaint against whomever secretly made the sex tape, spokesman Bill Proffitt said.
After looking into the matter and consulting with the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office, authorities decided Hulk had no criminal recourse. The statute of limitations regarding recordings has passed, Proffitt said. Police suggested Hulk’s lawyer pursue civil options.
If you want to see how the Hulkster is doing, lift his spirits by visiting his new beach shop in Clearwater Beach. He’s gonna need some money for lawyer’s fees.
