India's courts continue to back off smooching
Shilpa Shetty’s Monday call to move the charges against her and Richard Gere from Jaipur to Mumbai has helped the American actor a bit. The AP reports India’s Supreme Court on Tuesday suspended the arrest warrant for Gere until it can decide the jurisdiction for the case. In fact, even the charges against Shetty have been put off until further notice. Hopefully that notice will be the Indian hard-liners coming to their senses.
