Ingrates plan boycotts of Megan Fox on Aug. 4
With our recent boycott of Octomom Nadya Suleman duly announced, we raise a collective eyebrow at Asylum.com's plan to make Aug. 4 "A Day Without Megan Fox." More than a dozen other men's Web sites are participating, it seems. What did she ever do to you?
"You can have too much of a good thing," AskMen.com's Editor-in-Chief James Bassil told the New York Daily News. "We're joining in the media blackout and giving our readers a one-day reprieve from the woman we've been drowning in all summer."
What, like being in two movies and on the covers of Esquire, Empire, Maxim, GQ UK, Entertainment Weekly and Elle is overexposure? Try counting how many times Kate Gosselin is on magazine covers. This is like the high schoolers who hate the popular girl because she's pretty.
"She needs to do more to earn our undying praise and affection," Doug Sheckler of on205th.com said. "For instance, she hasn't even returned any of my calls this year asking for a date. What's up with that?"
We can appreciate that, but really Doug, all she does is star as eye candy in movies. That's all any of these celebrities do. They can't all be humanitarians like Angelina Jolie. And with that, The Juice* declares we will specifically find something to say about Megan Fox on Aug. 4 to counteract this madness.
