IRS coming after Al Pacino for $188k in unpaid taxes

Of all the big names we know aren't on the ball when it comes to paying their taxes, Al Pacino is one of the last people we thought would be in trouble with the IRS. But here he is, owing more than $188,000 in back taxes. He must have been hanging out with Wesley Snipes and Nicolas Cage too much.

TMZ says the Internal Revenue Service has filed a tax lien against the actor. It seem he owes $169,143.06 from 2008 and $19,140.44 from 2009. But don't think it's his fault -- his rep says his former business manager, Kenneth Starr, is the guilty party. He'll be easy to find: he's serving seven years in prison for swindling loads of cash from other Hollywood types.

Okay, well, we take it back, then. Although we've got to wonder, why did it take the IRS so long to get back to Al's accountant? With the deficit the way it is, you'd think collections would be the busiest agency in Washington.
