It apparently isn't too hard to write children's books these days
Scary had her baby, Posh is moving to the states and now Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell is not only writing a series of children’s books, but is headed back to the studio. The AP reports Halliwell has landed a six-book publishing deal with Macmillan to chronicle the animated adventures of Ugenia Lavender, a 9-year-old girl who balances everyday school life with solving mysteries (hey, whose childhood isn’t like that?). The 34-year-old plans to release one book a month next year from May to October of 2008, with a new song she’s recorded included on CD. Too bad her target audience will look at the disc like it’s an ancient relic before turning up their mp3 players. [Photo: AP]
