J-Love can't find it in her heart to pay the talent agency that brought her back to (TV) life
Jennifer Love Hewitt is not immune to being hauled into court. The Ghost Whisperer has been sued by Handprint Entertainment LLC for breach of contract, with the agency alleging she orally agreed to pay a 10 percent commission for every deal brokered while she was with the company, E! Online reports.
Apparently Hewitt balked when Handprint came to collect its 10 percent for the second season of the show, which is wrapping up en route to a third, saying the deal was dead. Too bad Jen paid that 10 percent on the first season, making it look like she understood the terms of the deal as Handprint describes. The company wants $350,000 for the slight. Maybe she can spare some coin from her Hanes commercials.
