Jennifer Lopez may be leaving 'American Idol' for 'Que Viva!: The Chosen'
Sure, Simon Cowell's The X Factor has been getting all the ink lately because of its judging problems, but American Idol may be having trouble again next year. It seem Jennifer Lopez is already looking to take off, because darn it, she's just too busy. Apparently making $12 million in one season isn't enough to keep her there.
"I haven't been forced to make a decision and I'm glad about that because honestly I'm very on the fence about it," Lopez told BBC Radio, according to TMZ. "I loved it, but I have a lot of other things happening, and it's going to come down to me making a choice of what I want to do for the next year."
The biggest stumbling block seems to be that she and her husband Marc Anthony are trying to sell their own show, Que Viva!: The Chosen. It's like Idol, The Voice and X Factor, but centered on talent from Latin America. Oh come on, why outsource the singing competitions? America still has plenty of trusting, unsuspecting youth to exploit!
