Jerry Springer starring in 'Chicago' production
If there's one thing we've all been wondering, it's what's Jerry Springer has been up to, right? Well, if you're headed across the pond in June check him out in a six-week run as lawyer Billy Flynn in a West End production of Chicago.
He'll have to try hard to give 'em a little razzle-dazzle, especially considering he says he can't sing a note: "I have a voice for newspapers and a face for radio,” he says in the Times of London. "When I sing the audience really gets involved because they will have to guess where the notes were supposed to have been."
The 65-year-old will get some vocal training before starting his eight-shows-a-week stint at Cambridge Theatre.
"I'm going to try to respect the traditions of the theater and of the show," he says. "I'm going to work hard at it, I'm going to really rehearse and give it my best."
Because if there's one thing we know Jerry's good at, it's respecting traditions and giving his best.
