'Jersey Shore' will spend season four over in Italy
Just when you thought Jersey Shore couldn't get any worse, MTV has announced that the upcoming fourth season will be shot not down the shore, but in Italy. At least they won't be back in Florida.
"While the stateside Jersey Shore locales have become iconic for our audience, it’s really the constantly evolving dynamic amongst the cast that keeps them coming back each season, and Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us," MTV VP of programming and head of production Chris Linn said on the network's website. "The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can’t wait to see what erupts as a result."
The site says the season will focus on Vinny Guadagnino heading back to the old country to visit family there, among other storylines. Judging by how many ladies showed up at AJA Wiregrass last week to see him, that may be a safe bet. Also a safe bet: Being part of a gang of absolute slobs and hoping for a job on an MTV reality show.
