Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick hates show, is in therapy
Jersey Shore is no place for wilting personalities -- just ask Angelina Pivarnick, the insult magnet who left the show's Miami digs back in the Sept. 30 episode after being bullied, just because she was dirty, slept around and argued with every other cast member. Hey, reality TV ain't nice, girl.
"I was bullied to the fullest sense," the 24-year-old tells Us magazine. "Mike (Sorrentino) called me a dirty hamster, but I cleaned that house up and down. MTV never showed that. Snooki (Polizzi) would call me a whore. Mike and Vinny (Guadagnino) would call me fat ... I would go in the bathroom and cry." It doesn't help that she constantly fought with Snooki and hooked up with Vinny. You don't need to even watch the show to realize this is not an exercise in self-esteem building.
"It bothers me hearing the names they call me, and that it looks like I’m the backstabber," she says. "My head is really f--ked up; I see a therapist, I cry a lot. It’s probably going to take me a year to get over this. My mom got bleeding ulcers from the stress -- it's hard to watch her daughter go through what I did."
Truth to tell, Angie, it's hard for all of us to watch this. And we didn't even know The Situation put grated cheese and olive oil all over your bed. It must have been like high school all over again. But hey, you got to be on TV!
