Jersey Shore's Ronnie Magro was arrested, too
While Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was getting all the press for being involved in a police-worthy incident on Jersey Shore, don't count out costar Ronnie Magro, who was arrested in September for getting in a fight. Eh, if it doesn't involve a woman being punched, nobody really seems to care.
Seaside Heights, N.J., police Chief Thomas Boyd told people that the reality show victim was busted for aggravated assault on Sept. 4 for hitting a guy. That'll be on the show, even though the 24-year-old says the charges against him were dismissed, something the Ocean County prosecutor's office denies by claiming the fight's still under investigation. Magro got a few hours of jail time and a $600 bail fee, but he still acts as a role model by saying the other guy -- who allegedly harassed him, Snooki and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola -- deserved it.
“I really don’t feel bad for the altercations that I did get into in Seaside because I’m really not a person who likes to fight,” Magro said. “He was just being a drunk jerk, saw the camera … (and) I think he chased us down like two blocks or something like that. At that point, you’re like, ‘What am I gonna do?’”
Well, maybe you could get MTV's army of lawyers to back you up. Then again, they probably won't help you, since they have a TV show to sell.
