In this day and age, we live under constant threat of invasion by swarthy, backward people from the East, who have absolutely no compassion for their fellow man or regard for American standards of decency -- and by that, we mean the guidos and guidettes from Jersey Shore. Now the worst has happened. Yes, it looks like Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is getting her own spinoff. Heaven help us.

Us magazine says MTV has its sights set on a new show featuring the Orange One, who shoulders aside her castmate, Jenni "JWoww" Farley. We really did not see that one coming.

“Execs think a show focusing on Snooki will be a bigger hit, so they pushed JWoww out," a source tells the mag. MTV won't confirm any new Jersey Shore-related programming, but this is an idea so bad, it can only be true.
