J.K. Rowling may write another Harry Potter book
J.K. Rowling just can’t leave everyone’s favorite boy wizard along. On Friday she told Oprah Winfrey that she may yet write another novel in her seminal Harry Potter series. We’d call it Harry Potter and the Death of the Franchise.
Rowling says the characters are still in her head and she “could definitely” write several new books about them, the AP reports. “I’m not going to say I won’t,” she said.
But why did she ever stop in the first place? For one, she hated being a celebrity, complete with paparazzi and reporters picking through her garbage. She said it was “like being a Beatle” and there was a time she “was barely hanging by a thread.” Yes, it’s very difficult being one of the richest people in the world and loved by millions.
