Jodie Sweetin was lying about kicking drug habit
Has it really been almost a year since last we checked up on Full House train wreck Jodie Sweetin? Good thing she has a new book she's selling to let us know she's been lying this whole time about being clean and sober.
The Huffington Post has excerpts from unSweetined in which she describes how she fell back into cocaine and meth addiction not long after giving birth to daughter Zoie in April 2008. She says she was giving a lecture at Marquette University, but decided to do a few bumps to help her shake off some drowsiness.
"I thought for sure that one of the professors would take one look at me and kick me out. But none did," she writes. "They wanted to hear about the trials and tribulations of Jodie Sweetin, or at least the Jodie Sweetin I had created by appearing on Good Morning America and talking to People magazine."
Popeater has another anecdote about how she went back to meth, asking a former methhead pal to come over to her place.
"I knew it was a really bad idea to invite her over but I wanted to test myself, I guess," she writes. "We hung out, played cards. I told her I hadn't done meth in a while. One thing led to another and just like that, I was back."
And the lesson for the kids: Starring on a cheesy sitcom and then developing a $700-a-week coke and meth habit will get you divorced from Cody Herpin, declared an unfit mother -- and a book deal.
