John Travolta sued by cruise ship steward this time
It's a new week, so that means a new lawsuit for John Travolta, this time from that cruise ship guy Fabian Zanzi, who claimed Travolta had exposed himself on a 2009 voyage. Yeah, you forgot he didn't sue, just told everyone, didn't you? It's okay, we forgot, too.
Zanzi claims Travolta asked for a neck massage and dropped his bathrobe before hugging the steward while Zanzi was bringing him room service during a Royal Caribbean cruise about three years ago. He says Travolta called him "beautiful" and said "Take me, I will take care of you, please."
When that didn't work out, Travolta allegedly offered him $12,000 to shut up about it, and despite complaining to the ship's management, Zanzi's bosses wouldn't let him write about the nudity in a complaint. he is now suing for unspecified damages, TMZ reports.
Travolta's lawyer, Marty Singer, released a statement calling this "another ludicrous lawsuit" that doesn't hold any water. "The lawsuit's ridiculous claims are completely contradicted by what Mr. Zanzi told his employer back in 2009 when he was being disciplined for his own violations of company policy," Singer said. "In his handwritten report three years ago, the only physical contact he claimed occurred was allegedly touching my client's neck. The inappropriate conduct he alleges in his lawsuit is absent from his written report he submitted at the time."
Singer's going to have to hire an assistant just for all these Travolta lawsuits, in any case.
