Jon Bon Jovi says 'we'll get through' Stephanie's heroin overdose
Jon Bon Jovi has decided to start talking about his daughter Stephanie's heroin overdose, saying even his fab lifestyle couldn't take away the earth-shattering pain of realizing Richie Sambora's lifestyle could infest his family, too. He certainly has a lot to be thankful for this year, given his kid didn't die and had drug charges dropped.
"It's human. What I do for a living seems glitzy and glamorous but if you don't take it too seriously it's just a great way to make a living," he told L.A.'s Fox affiliate. "And then life goes on. Things happen. And this tragedy was something that I had to face, too. So we'll get through it, and people's warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring. So, we're good, we're good."
This whole story just makes us want to lock Baby Juice* up in her room until she turns 35, but we hear that's not good for kids, either. If anyone has any suggestions how to raise a kid without constantly worrying their inherent feelings of indestructibility will push them to do something outrageously stupid, please email them to tbteditors@tampabay.com.
