Jon Gosselin must return $180,000 to Kate
A Pennsylvania judge has ordered Jon Gosselin to repay his estranged wife Kate $180,000, which were apparently withdrawn from a checking account in violation of an order from an arbitrator, TMZ reports. We know we previously said that we were taking a week off from these two, but anytime Jon has to pay back money, that's exempt.
Jon has until Oct. 26 to make good on his untimely ATM use, the same day Kate has to show where money from that account was going. In Jon's case, however, he can be referred to a contempt proceeding if he doesn't comply.
"The remaining sum of $55,000, which Ms. Gosselin used for household bills and expenses relating to the children, will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date," her lawyer, Mark Momjian, told the site.
Kate, of course, is thrilled to once again be publicly humiliating her husband: "As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the Court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children. Now that this matter has been ruled on, I look forward to returning to private arbitration, as we have agreed to do, to resolve any remaining issues."
How about this issue: When are you two going to quit ducking in and out of courthouses and yapping on the picture box and maybe, oh, say, raise your children??
