Jordan's still a piggie, judgmental woman says

Tbdsparks060507 Obesity expert MeMe Roth, of the National Action Against Obesity, tells The Scoop that she’s been getting “hate posts calling for my death” since she called American Idol winner Jordin Sparks overweight on Fox.

“When I look at Jordin I see diabetes, I see heart disease, I see high cholesterol,” Roth said. “That’s what’s so sad about this — she is not the vision of health — she is the vision of ‘unhealth.’ ”

And though Roth has never called Sparks “obese,” fans still had time to put down their Ben & Jerry’s to complain about the comments.

Roth said the 17-year-old singer is “quite contradictory. In her latest People magazine interview she’s both declaring to ‘love her body’ just as it is, while at the same time, in the sidebar, advising other ‘plus-size’ females on how to dress slim.”

Well yeah, because this is America: What we say and what we do never match up.
