Justin Bieber concert cancelled because Australian fans are crazy
It seems Justin Bieber's 'tween-age fans are just too much for even the 16-year-old singer to deal with, since he cancelled an outdoor concert in Sydney on Sunday because all those screaming girls were a security risk. Hey, you wouldn't want a bunch of 13-year-olds overrunning and drowning you in a sea of joyful tears, would you?
The U.K.'s Daily Mail says police were called to the Overseas Passenger Terminal in the city after several fans ended up being crushed by the crowd. Well, the paper says crushed, but what really happened was that all the people lining up for Bieber's morning interview on a TV show called Sunrise started surging around 2 a.m. before the show, making 10 girls to faint. Paramedics were called and authorities cancelled the concert after the show due to "mass scenes of hysteria."
It seems to The Juice* that calling the show off is what would really induce hysteria, and we're partially right. Crowds then proceeded to chant and hold up signs that read "Sunrise sucks." Bieber took to his Twitter account (@justinbieber) to tell fans "I love my fans....and I am just as disappointed as everyone else with the news from this morning. I want to sing for my fans." Just not when you're threatening to kill other girls to get to the stage.
