Justin Bieber denies California woman's paternity claims
Justin Bieber's people are denying claims by a 20-year-old California woman that he fathered her 3-month-old son, saying it's all a fame grab and their precious, vanity-bespectacled heartthrob singer would never have done such a thing. That's right, it's time for a good, old-fashioned paternity suit!
"While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims," Bieber's reps said in a statement to RadarOnline. "We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."
This response comes after Mariah Yeater filed a paternity suit against the 17-year-old singer on Halloween alleging he is the daddy of Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater, who was born July 6. Star has an exclusive photo of the tyke, who looks pretty teeny tiny, even for a newborn. Mama Yeater says she and Beiber did the nasty backstage after one of his concerts in L.A.'s Staple Center on Oct. 25, 2010, when he was 16 and she was 19. That raises all sorts of other legal issues we'll surely hear about in the future.
Apparently he used the pickup line that it was his first time -- because what adult woman doesn't dream of taking Justin Bieber's virginity backstage at the Staples Center? -- and it worked. After heading to a bathroom and engaing in intercourse that was "brief, lasting only approximately 30 seconds," Beiber said he'd remember her number and call her back, which he obviously never did. She claims in her sworn affidavit they didn't use protection and bam, a little Bieber was born.
"When I later realized I was pregnant with Justin Bieber's baby, I tried to contact him through his representatives but no one ever called me back," Yeater told a judge, according to Star.
"On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber. Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby."
Yeater is on welfare right now, and is asking Beiber to take a paternity test and pay child support. There will be a court hearing in December, which gives everyone plenty of time to play Justin's single Baby until our ears bleed.
