Justin Bieber's 'Baby' surpasses Lady Gaga for most watched YouTube video
Time for all of us to dig basements and then hide in them. The AP say Justin Bieber's Baby (featuring Ludacris) is the most-watched video on YouTube, ever. We really thought Chocolate Rain would win that honor, too.
The 16-year-old pop star's video passed Lady Gaga's Bad Romance video to take the all-time lead, the AP reports. More than 246 million have watched Bieber's video on the Google-owned website (watch it above to add to the total). And he didn't even have to wear those iris-enlarging contact lenses that are supposed to make you go blind.
"what is goin on with the BABY video on youtube is crazy...i started on youtube so the support...well i just need to say thank u," Bieber said through his Twitter account, @justinbieber. "WOW!! Love u and wish u all the best in each and every one of ur lives. Thanks Beliebers!"
Bieber reached the milestone Friday afternoon, but has been switching places with Gaga here and there. We recomend you play up the ol' "Charlie bit my finger" video, which is the most-watched clip that's not a music video. IT's languishing with a mere 210 million views. Get to work, Juice*heads.
