Kara DioGuardi's dad says Fox didn't tell her she was fired from 'American Idol'
Whether or not you American Idol fans are glad to hear that Kara DioGuardi has been given the ax, rest assured you heard about it the same way she did -- in the newspaper. That's waht her dad, Republican senate candidate for New York Joe DioGuardi told Capital Tonight. See, we still matter.
"Would you believe that she did not hear -- and still has not heard -- anything?" Joe said on the show (watch it above, at the 4:17 mark). "She read it the way you did and I did. In fact, her disappointment is that that's the way she's being treated and she feels that's not proper. ... I think they're trying to create a lot of buzz, like they did with Paula Abdul; they're trying to reformat the thing. But Kara has a very deep career in music ... she'll be fine. Would she want to do it another year? I think so ... I think she at some point will confront them on that."
Well, somebody in this circle of ineptitude should break the cycle. It might as well be Kara. And to answer his query, yes, yes we do believe Fox would do that to their talent. Nobody in the state of California knows how to deliver bad news.
