Katherine Heigl would stay on 'Grey's Anatomy'
Remember how Katherine Heigl made Knocked Up and 27 Dresses and then said she didn't want to be on Grey's Anatomy anymore, basically because she ruled and Grey's was going downhill and Shonda Rhimes can shove it? Yeah, forget all that, since she's now saying hey, I would like to have a job. The recession is getting to everyone.
The actress said at a party for the show's 100th episode that she's all ready to stay with the show, but it's not up to her anymore, and it's possible Izzie Stevens has a date with the coroner, the AP reports.
"I was assuming that at one point and I got a lot of shrugged shoulders and shakes of the head, so I don't know if that's a yes or a no," Heigl said. "No one will tell me and I don't know how this is going to go. I don't know if I live or die. I don't know how Izzie fares."
Gee, do you think maybe the writers had a problem with your attitude? Anyway, Heigl's big enough to say she'll figure out a way to squeeze moviemaking in with her day job as a TV actress.
"I'm more than happy to make that compromise," Heigl said. "I don't know if I want to continue for five years working 12 months a year, but I can take at least another year or two."
Aw, that's swell. And all the rest of us have to do is take it another 35 or 40 years. That's big of her.
