Kathy Najimy selling arm-waddle-reducing Ch'Arms on HSN
There's something bizarre afoot (or rather, on arms) at HSN in St. Petersburg, just in time for the holidays. It seems Kathy Najimy, the erstwhile voice of Peggy on King of the Hill, has launched a sister version of the much-maligned but ever-popular body shaper Spanx, but for your arms. They are called, of course, Ch'Arms.
"Ch'Arms is a garment problem–solver," Najimy -- who lost plenty of weight after starring as Sister Mary Patrick in the Sister Act movies -- said in a press release. "For those of us who love the look of short sleeve or sleeveless garments but sometimes choose to have our arms covered, Ch'Arms gives us the best of both worlds." All this confidence and self-esteem by squeezing your arm fat, for only $29.90!
You'll note from the photo that the real oddity of this product is that it resembles a long-sleeved shirt with nothing covering the chest. The Juice* doesn't know what that's about (we used to call those "sleeves"), but we've put tbt*'s resident Deal Diva, Stephanie Hayes, on the case. Not that she needs any arm augmentation, but she'll be sure to rip into what looks like a full-length push-up bra with a vengeance. Keep your eyes peeled at tampabay.com/blogs/divas for her take soon.
