Katie Holmes explains that gossip-mongers lie about her
There's not much that Katie Holmes is doing these days we would really care about, but she does talk about how all those flase stories and rumors about her get started. Oh good, that's a subject right in our wheelhouse.
Take, for example, those paparazzi pics of her daughter Suri running around with no coat. It's not because she's a bad parent, but because, well, she has a five-year-old daughter: "Recently, Suri and I were taking a walk and a fight got started because it was cold outside and she didn't want to wear her coat," Holmes tells InStyle. "My philosophy is, well, fine, because after a block of walking you're going to ask me for your coat. So the pictures of her (without a coat in cold weather) are sort of embarrassing, but I said, 'Suri, I'll take the hit. Just put it on when you get cold.'"
Well, that seems reasonable. If only it weren't for those darn gossip columnists, all of whom seem to be making up stories about her.
"It's a constant battle. Whenever I think, oh good, it's calmed down, another false story comes out," she says. "I feel like I'm constantly saying, 'No, no, I'm actually this way!' I try not to go on the Internet that much because who needs to hear comments? But I do know what's being said: I am briefed."
And that's when we say she's being briefed by the Scientologists, who are keeping her in a sensory deprivation tank and feeding her e-meters! No, really, they aren't doing that. Please don't sue The Juice*.Source
