Kelly Clarkson says Carrie Underwood would be a good 'American Idol' judge
When it comes to potential American Idol judges, at least one person is completely in the pro Carrie Underwood camp: Kelly Clarkson. Well yeah, because then Kelly can destroy her in iTunes sales, no problem!
"She would!" Clarkson told Us magazine when asked if she thought Underwood would be a good judge. "Didn't she major in journalism or something? "And she can have that face ... that bluff face! She can put that on! She would be good."
For the record, Carrie graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla., with a degree in mass communications, specializing in journalism, Us says. But what about Kelly taking a seat at the table?
"I don't want to be a judge. Mentor is more my style," she said. "And not just mentoring, getting to be a part of the song with them, getting them amped up -- from our rehearsals to stage, it's so exciting being onstage. It's fun!" Plus, you make a lot more money and end up on a lot more magazine covers than some boring desk job on TV!
