Kelly tells Clive where to stick it

Tbdclarkson071607 Kelly Clarkson’s My December is still sitting near the top of the Billboard charts, so all that ruckus over firing her manager and canceling her tour is most likely falling on deaf ears.

But that doesn’t mean this comment Clarkson made to BMG chief Clive Davis (as she tells Blender) will stand: “I don’t know you very well, and I am not a bull-[bleep]er. I get [that] you don’t like the album. You’re 80; you’re not supposed to like my album.”

Kelly also threw down about the folks at the label, saying, “I literally got told to my face that it wouldn’t sell more than 600,000 copies. And I got lied to. One reason I don’t like working with people at the label is that they lie. ... If you’re going with the flow and not fighting, that’s settling. I can’t take that. Life is just too short to be a pushover.”

We’ll see how sales go in week three, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see BMG drop-kick her any day now, no matter how much money she makes.
