Kendra Wilkinson is fighting release of sex tape
Just when you thought former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson could retire from the smut biz and settle down with her football-playing husband and their new baby, some ex-boyfriend comes along and sells an old sex tape to Vivid to ruin her life. We only wonder why it's taken this long.
Ok! breaks the story that the 24-year-old, who just last year married on-and-off Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett and gave birth to their son Hank Jr., is the subject of a tape being touted by Vivid as being after she met Hugh Hefner but before she moved into the Playboy Mansion and started filming The Girls Next Door. That would put her in the 18- or 19-year-old range.
Wilkinson, who's trying to sell herself as a devoted wife and mother, is fighting the release, RadarOnline says. She worried that the tape, made with some unnamed yahoo way back when, is from her wild child days. You know, six years ago.
“The video is private and highly confidential taken for private use and not for public disclosure," a letter from her lawyer Yael E. Holtkamp to Vivid reads. “Any exploitation of the video would be a gross violation of Miss Wilkinson’s constitutional and common law rights of privacy.”
But Vivivd CEO Steve Hirsch doesn't really care what she says: “After reviewing our legal position we remain confident of our right to distribute the video. Thus Vivid.Com plans to release Kendra Exposed within the next several weeks.”
What a terrible development. The Juice* will have to get its crack research staff on this case right away to determine whether the video is indeed a violation of her rights. Who knew spending the better part of a decade naked would have repercussions?
