Kid Rock arrested after fight at Waffle House
Of all the places we’d ever expect Kid Rock to be arrested, a Waffle House is the least surprising. Following a performance, the trashy musician was busted outside an Atlanta branch for fighting shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday and spent about 12 hours in the cooler before being released, the AP reports.
“He and five members of his entourage were involved in a fight with a male customer inside the Waffle House,” said Mekka Parish, a spokeswoman for the DeKalb County Police Department.
The customer had recognized a woman with the group and began talking with her, sparking the fight. The brawl moved outside and at some point the customer punched out a Waffle House window. What a man!
Rock left in his bus but was pulled over a mile down the road. He and five others were taken into custody for simple battery, a misdemeanor. The unnamed customer, however, was not only treated for cuts and bruises but was charged with criminal damage to property, which is a felony.
