Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries got married
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are officially married, in case you don't watch any Ryan Seacrest-produced shows on E!. Now all we have to do is sit back and wait for her to officially change her Twitter name.
Thanks to the full-on media blackout put in place by the network, we don't have any photos for you. But thanks to People magazine, we know Demi Lovato, Babyface, Vera Wang, Mario Lopez, Mark Ballas, Ciara, Carmelo Anthony, Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz, Julianne Hough, Alan Thicke, Cheryl Burke, Melanie Brown, Maria Menounos, Sugar Ray Leonard, Serena Williams, Kathie Lee Gifford, Brittny Gastineau, Greta Van Susteren, Jillian Barberie, Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne, Scottie and Larsa Pippen, and Dina, Ali and Lindsay Lohan all were there at Google CEO Eric Schmidt's compound in Montecito, Calif. The 30-minute ceremony, slated for 6 p.m. Saturday, started about a half-hour late. It was the C-list event of the century, however, so a little wait is no big deal.
"I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle, But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad," Kim said in the program, referring to O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003. Stepfather Bruce Jenner walked her down the aisle.
Sisters Kourtney and Khloe acted as co-maids of honor, with sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Kris Humphries' sister Kaela as bridemaids. Kourtney's son, Mason Disick, was the ring bearer.
After Robin Thicke introduced the couple as Mr. and Mrs. Humphries at the reception and they danced to his song Angels, everyone chowed down on a dinner prepared by Wolfgang Puck. Well, we're pretty sure he didn't cook the whole thing, but he at least planned the menu.
We're sure there will be all sorts of photos in People later this week, so go check that out. The Juice* would give you more details, but we can barely afford this space, as it is.
