Kim Kardashian is more than a little upset that a recent photo shoot for Cosmopolitan landed her on the cover of the Turkish edition of the mag, which is unfortunate, since Kim is of Armenian heritage and the Turks killed hundreds of thousands in the Armenian Genocide of 1915. It doesn't help that the day marking the deadly campaign is April 24.

"I just found out (Monday) that I am on the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine in Turkey this month," Kim wrote on her blog. "Cosmopolitan Magazine has a number of international editions all around the world that run in various territories, and when I did this shoot for the international covers I had no idea that Turkey was planning to run my story on their cover THIS month, considering Genocide Remembrance Day is this month. My Armenian heritage means a lot to me and I’ve been brought up to be incredibly proud of my family’s background and culture so as an Armenian-American woman it is a huge honor for me to be on the first ever Armenian Cosmopolitan cover. ... I really hope that if I can bring awareness to the issue, then this in an accomplishment."

E! News reports that of the numerous editions given to Kim for approval from the shoot, the Turkish one was somehow accidentally excluded. That's an unfortunate coincidence, ain't it?

"Kim Kardashian is one of our favorite cover girls," Cosmo told E!. "We were thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph her for the Cosmopolitan editions worldwide."

Rumor now has it that they've patched things up, and Kim is doing more shoots for the mag, according to The Hollywood Gossip. Kim's agent must smell another cover story coming out of all this.
