Kris Humphries says Kim Kardashian lied about $325,000 Ferrari
The knives are coming out in Kris Humphries' divorce from Kim Kardashian, with his lawyers wondering why Kim didn't include a $325,000 Ferrari in a list of wedding gifts when calculating how much she'd be giving away to charity. She can't possibly be expected to include her favorite car in all that, can she?
A Malaysian businessman who attended the couple's wedding gave them the car -- ostensibly a 458 Italia, although no one can really confirm -- but when Kardashian said she was giving away $200,000 to charity to "double the value" of their wedding gifts, for which she got a fat tax deduction, she skipped the ride. Humphries' lawyers intend to grill her about it under oath, too, RadarOnline says, probably to determine her level in truthiness about her finances.
"Kris doesn't care about the car, but would have appreciated being consulted after the couple initially split about what was going to be done with the wedding gifts," a source tells the site. "The total of their wedding gifts, not including the $325k Ferrari, was around $400k. When you include the value of the Ferrari they actually got over $700k in total in wedding presents, so Kim should have donated a lot more to charity that the $200k she claims she has."
The source claims Kris is really going to go for the jugular over this, too: "This divorce is absolutely going to trial, there will be no settlement. This isn't about money, Kris just wants the truth to come out." Well, keeping a Ferrari instead of giving an extra $650,000 to charity does go a long way to making her look like she's a bit on the selfish side.
