Kris Jenner, Sheryl Underwood joining 'The Talk'
Sharon Osbourne may have taken a break, Julie Chen may have angered a few people and Sara Gilbert may be splitting up with her partner, but The Talk managed to attract some new blood in the form of Kris Jenner and Sheryl Underwood for next season. Hey, this isn't known as a cut-rate version of The View for nothin'.
Jenner, mother of Kim Kardashian and the rest of that horrible reality show clan, will actually be filling in for Osbourne for two weeks as the second season starts on Sept. 6, just like comedian Underwood, who also only has a two-week stint planned, the AP reports. The difference is, Underwood may stay on after her fortnight, while the best Jenner can hope for is to be a regular fill-in for Sharon.
The pair are replacing Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete, who weren't working out for various reasons. Don't feel bad for Kris, thoughl She's joining Hoda Kotb on NBC's Today show for an hour in October. Convenient, given that her still-untitled memoir is due on shelves in November. Wonder what she'll talk about ...
