Kristin Stewart sorry for cheating on Robert Pattinson with director

tbd-kristenstewart072612.jpgTweens and Twihards all over the globe will surely weep at this one. E! reports that Kristen Stewart cheated on her vampy boyfriend Robert Pattinson  by having an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, who is married with children to model Liberty Ross. You know, the Liberty Ross who played Stewart's mother in the movie. We really wonder how Sanders and Stewart pulled this one off.

You want proof? Us Weekly printed a cover photo of Sanders holding Stewart from behind and kissing her (fully clothed, of course, you perverts). If you want even more proof, Stewart publicly apologized on Wednesday, MTV reports. We guess she really did it, then.

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," she said in a statement. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry." Oh wow, we really feel bad for you, Kristen.

Apparently Pattinson was able to brush this little hitch off, since he showed up at the Teen Choice Awards with Stewart three days ago. A source told E! that Pattinson is irrevocably in love with Stewart, despite the incident. He apparently thinks she's perfect and wants to eventually marry her. We're pretty sure that at this point Stewart could do just about anything -- like kill baby elephants, or eat at Chick-fil-A -- and Pattinson wouldn't mind, because he's a pasty, spineless wimp.

The couple better kiss and make up soon, since Breaking Dawn Part 2 comes out in November 2012. By that we mean Stewart better strive to be a little more decent to lunkhead R-Pattz or else an army of 13-year-old girls may slap that tokehead mope right off her face.
