Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyler get engaged
Now that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are hitched, it's time for another country music hitchin', so ladies and gents, we present Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrell. We give the latter a better chance than the former.
The Lady Antebellum singer and Tim McGraw's touring drummer, who met on the road in 2010, got engaged over July 4 weekend, according to LadyAntebellum.com.
"Chris proposed exactly the way I've always dreamed," she tells the site. "Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and – in our workout clothes – he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together!"
No date has been set, which is not surprising, because The Juice* has yet to hear of anyone who decides on a wedding date before announcing they are engaged. Tim better get an invite, though.
